Brother is one of two unsigned acts selected from our UpSurge and 1M Europe gigs in April to perform at Primo Maggio in Rome.
Primo Maggio is Italy’s biggest free one day concert held in Piazza San Giovanni and celebrates Italy’s Labor Day and broadcast live on Italy’s national Broadcaster Rai TV.

The  opportunities for new upcoming acts to perform their music on a festival’s main stage is becoming an increasingly rare event. Usually they’re consigned to a tent miles away from the main action. Well not here,  Brother, who were initially selected from our UpSurge gigs, performed in front of an 80K strong audience on Primo Maggio’s huge main stage with their set broadcast live on Rai TV (Italy’s national broadcaster) to over 6 Million viewers.
Brother are a 4-piece indie pop band from Brighton. Their sound contains reverb drenched guitar lines and lucid piano melodies that combine to make a sound that is sure to captivate any audience they play to.  George Ireland’s vocal lines are honest and inviting while at times they take on an haunting and ethereal quality.
