JMG Executives Meet The New Maldivian President
In Rome.
The Meeting with the newly elected President Mr. Mohamed Nasheed and JMG's Music Executives took place at the Grand Plaza Hotel in Rome (Italy) on the 20th February 2009.

The main objective of the meeting was to discuss the European Breakout shows and JMG's entertainment and music programs which are aligned with the Maldives BreakOut Awards 2009 and the development of Asian and European brand.
On the agenda were the plans for the headlining band for the 2009 BreakOut festival, the BBC documentary and the advertising strategy for the events that would allow the Maldives to promote and sell its holiday packages to an estimated 4Milion people in Europe.
"The marketing strategy will be based around integrating the Maldives into our music events across Europe, which in-turn will serve as an advertising forum to speak directly to the target consumer and provide information on the resorts, entertainment package and price" said JMG's Corporate Strategy Manager. The combination of the European BreakOut shows and Maldives BreakOut festival will give the chance for thousands of spectators to sample what the Maldives has to offers.
One discussion, of great importance to JMG and its music division were its plans to implement a series of community based projects to assist local Asian music and arts develop beyond their borders.
